Welcome to chic.toronto!
What makes a chic.toronto woman? A love affair with all things ‘life’ – a need to grasp everything life can provide and still look like a budding fashionista in the process. It’s all about style – we each convey style in our own beautiful and unique way. We convey style in the way we dress, the way we act, and through the things that captivate us. A chic.toronto woman loves her literature just as much as she loves her Steve Maddens; she loves keeping herself healthy as much as she loves vegging out in front of the latest chick flicks; she loves socializing on the town just as much as she loves catching up on her beauty trends.
From style picks to health tricks, from recent lit to beauty kits – get everything you need to know in one place.

My name is Ashley, and I’m the founder of chic.toronto. I’m a twenty-something, suburban born, style-loving woman. I actually stumbled upon writing and blogging and it’s turned into a hobby that I can’t control.
My love affair with the written word started when I was really young, and has now grown into a full-out library of books that is now residing in my basement. Furthermore, I’ve grown into writing – I’ve contributed with wonderful Toronto beauty blogs in the past, and I currently write for a New York based online fashion magazine, FASHIONOTES.
I’ve always felt that one specific passion was never my norm – I love writing as much as I love books, I love films as much as I love my mascaras, and I love style as much as I love comfort. Who says we need to pick just one?
